Safety Tips
While receiving Bulk LPG
Always ensure proper earthing connections to the mobile LPG tanker before unloading operation.
Out of LPG
Make sure all appliances are turned off.
LPG Operations
All LPG operations must be carried out by personnel well trained in LPG operations.
Maintenance
All maintenance operations inside the LPG yard must be carried out by authorised service personnel only.
Safe Operation of LPG Installation
There should be No Smoking and No Ignition Sources near the LPG vessel .
In case of Leakage
Open doors and windows. Beware that LPG is heavier than air and will collect at the lowest levels.
In case of Fire
Advise the Fire Officer of the existence of an LPG bulk storage tank .
Vessel Safety System
Your installation may be fitted with one of two safety systems, Type A or Type B. Both are designed to guarantee the safe supply of LPG to your premises.
